70th anniversary of the deportation of Jews from Lendava

INVITATION TO CULTURAL PROGRAMMES

This year we commemorate the 70^th anniversary of the deportation of Jews in Lendava into the death camps. We invite you to join us on Friday, 25 April 2014, to join the events to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust.

10.30 am: Commemoration at the Jewish cemetery in the village of Dolga vas

11.00 am: Unveiling of the table of Slovenian Holocaust Museum on the facade of  Synagogue Lendava

In Synagogue Lendava there will be an exhibition of selected books on the Holocaust theme from the collection of the Knjižnica Lendava (Library of Lendava). You can als watch films with Jewish/Holocaust themes from 10 to 17 hours.
