M\u00faltj\u00e1val val\u00f3 kapcsolata, eml\u00e9kei v\u00e9gigk\u00eds\u00e9rt\u00e9k h\u00e9t \u00e9vtizedes m\u0171v\u00e9szi p\u00e1ly\u00e1j\u00e1n. Ez Chagall valamennyi munk\u00e1j\u00e1ra \u00e9rv\u00e9nyes: festm\u00e9nyeire \u00e9pp \u00fagy, mint akvarelljeire, grafikai m\u0171veire, festett \u00fcveg- \u00e9s gobelinmunk\u00e1ira vagy \u00e9ppen ker\u00e1mi\u00e1ira.<\/p>\n<p>Chagall nem csup\u00e1n m\u0171v\u00e9sz volt, de po\u00e9ta is. Sz\u00edvesen \u00e1br\u00e1zolt cirkuszi jeleneteket. \u00cdgy vallott err\u0151l a vil\u00e1gr\u00f3l: \u201eA cirkusz egy m\u00e1gikus vil\u00e1g, \u00e9vezredes j\u00e1t\u00e9k, t\u00e1nc k\u00f6nnyekkel \u00e9s nevet\u00e9ssel, j\u00e1t\u00e9k, amelyet k\u00e9zen \u00e9s l\u00e1bon adnak el\u0151, s amely magas szint\u0171 m\u0171v\u00e9szett\u00e9 alakul.\u201d Chagall azt is \u00e9rezte, hogy a szerelem a vil\u00e1gmindens\u00e9g forr\u00e1sa \u00e9s saj\u00e1t l\u00e9tez\u00e9s\u00e9nek alapja.
