8th International Salon of Photography
The Pannonia Reflections photography exhibition is an international project involving photographers from all over the world and has a very high added value. The exhibition is held under the patronage and rules of FIAP, the International Federation of Photographic Art, the Photographic Federation of Slovenia and the Photographic Society of America. The Pannonia Photographic Society is successfully implementing the project for the eighth consecutive year.
The organisation of the exhibition took place in several steps. At the beginning of August 2021, we launched a call for entries with five themes: Free Colour, Free Black and White, Architecture, Landscape and Water.
The call was open until the beginning of December 2021 and attracted 359 entries from 61 countries with 5,988 photographs. The jury met in mid-December and was composed of renowned and internationally acclaimed photographers Matjaž Čater (Slovenia), Borislav Milovanović (Serbia) and Nenad Martić (Croatia).
The jury assessed the photographs on a scale of 1 to 9. While creativity and originality were the main criteria, the technical perfection of the photograph was also important. After each jury member had assessed all the photographs, which were marked with a code, i.e. without any information about the photographer, they added up the scores for each one. This resulted in a list of the best-rated photographs, from which the jury selected, by agreement, the photographs it considered deserving of the prize. The 101 best-rated photographs were taken by 84 photographers from 27 countries around the world. You have the opportunity to see these photographs at the 8th Pannonia Reflections International Photography Exhibition.
